Today:Mark 3:31-35
The mother of Jesus and his brothers arrived at the house. Standing outside they sent word to Jesus and called him. A crowd seated around him told him. Your mother and your brothers and your sisters are outside asking for you. But he said to them in reply. Who are my mother and brothers? And looking around at those seated in the circle he said. Here are my mother and my brother. For whoever does the will of God is my brother and sister and mother.
+++ Reflection+++
Jesus teaches us that obedience is the first and foremost characteristic of a disciple. Everything stems from obedience to the Lord's will. Without obedience and structure, our life becomes chaotic, ruled by every fad and whim of the human heart. Obedience sets us free and safeguards our free will.

Mark.10:13-16
People were bringing children to Jesus that he might touch them, but the disciples rebuked them. When Jesus saw this he became indignant and said to them. Let the children come to me; do not prevent them, for the kingdom of God belongs to such as these. Amen, I say to you, whoever does not accept the kingdom of God like a child will not enter it. Then Jesus embraced them and blessed them, placing his hands on them.

Jesus calls both the young and old to be His disceples. In today's Gospel. He invites the children to come to Him as He did with many saints whom He called at a tender age. During the time of Early Church, entire households were baptized, adults and children alike. Let us remember that we have the responsibility to evangelize even children.

1Samuel3:3-10,19
It is important that we respond to God's call as Samuel does at the bidding of Eli.."Speak, Lord, your servant is a commitment to listen to God's will. His will is only way to true fulfillnent. The world will promise everything, especially pleasure, but will this make us happy? True happiness is deeper than passing pleasure. True happiness is obying the will of God for us.

Reflection:
Gospel. John:1:35-42
The dynamic evangelization can be a simple as Andrew bringing Peter to Jesus to see Him. One to one evangelization with in our networks is one of the most underestimated form of spreading the Gospel today. It is simple but very effective when done well. Let us top into our network of friend and see whome we need to share the Gospel with. After all, why would we want to deprive our friends of the gift of eternal life.
