Gospel Reflection
Matthew 22:1-14
It is ironic that many of those invited do not attend the feast and celebration of the king. They do some other business or tasks that they believe are more important and beneficial for them. This may be a good short- term decision. But in today's Gospel, what the King--- Jesus--- is offering is the gift of eternal life. Let us be mindful of our choices that may have eternal consequences.

Matthew 17:14-20
Let us pray for the gift of faith in God. We can be inspired to have a deeper faith in Him when we witness the faith of others,like that of saints. But we still rely on His grace to act on what inspires us to grow in our faith. May the Holy Spirit nurture our faith and remind us to depend on God for everything.
