John,11:45-56
Jesus is not afraid of death and He bravely faces the consequence of His obedience to the Father's will.May His bravery inspire us to take on our mission as a disciples despite the suffering and trial it brings. The Gospel will always prevail in the end. We are consoled by the truth that while death is end of our life in this world,it is also the beginning of eternal life in heaven.

A prophet finds, it most difficult to minister to his own people. This is because the people know him too well and find it hand to believe that he experienced real conversion. It is easier to hide behind past experiences and ignore the challenges of the present. Let us pray for the grace and help of the Holy Spirit to face the challenges head on.

John3:14-21
Any encounter with Jesus is always one of love. He did not come to condemn us--- He come to save us out of love for us. Let us open our hearts to God's transforming love encourages us to share the same love with those whome we meet. The Gospel is an encounter with a disciple of Jesus should likewise be an encounter of love.

Matthew 18:21-35
Forgiveness and mercy go hand in the scriptures. Today's parable teaches us that we cannot expect to forgiven if we are not willing to forgive those who sin against us. God's mercy is partly dependent on our decision to show mercy to others. Let us be rich in mercy and compassion just as God has been to us..
